Yamazaki Sherry Cask - NAS (2009)

A no age statement sherry cask bottle from Yamazaki (山崎). What could possibly go wrong?

Supposedly around 12 to 15 years old with 16k bottles worldwide. 48% vol.

• Nose: Oloroso sherry, oak & woods , Mon Cheri chocolate (from Ferrero), dark chocolate, plum spread, heavy sweet red wine
• Mouth: Wood, sherry, sweet'ish with a dry mouthfeel
• Finish: Raisins, oak, sherry, dry, grass

Comments: Total sherry dream at a great price. The 2009 bottle is sold out but there also is a 2010 bottling (noted on the back-label) and a 2011 bottling (noted on the front-label), at least in Japan.
