Suntory Kakubin

The Suntory Kakubin is a budget blend from Suntory. Kakubin means square bottle and althou "Kakubin" is stated nowhere on the bottle it is it's official name. It was originally introduced in 1937 and now bottled at 40% vol.
There also is a less common white and black label of this one.

  • Nose: Very floral, light, a bit malt and honey, hint of alcohol
  • Mouth: Mild, honey, a tad "grainy", tad alcohol
  • Finish: Sweet honey, tad pepper, rather short but very clean
Comment: Very drinkable blend for a very low price, no mixer needed. Very clean and simple, really nothing wrong with it.
